Part 1: Brief

The brief we were working to be to create a title sequence for a fictional movie, the maximum time it was allowed to be was two minutes long. We followed our brief but did some minor alterations, such as the name of our film name changed as it was originally called the disc but we changed it to Encryption, as it sounded more effective and suited the themes of our film. Our Title sequence is about a father and son taking an ordinary walk through the woods but its isn’t, the father is a spy holding a disc with encrypted information on it, but a Russian terrorist is stalking the father for the information so the father plants the disc on the son and tells him to run, after this the father is chased by the terrorist and a fight sequences occurs the father is defeated and the title appears “Encryption”.  The genre of our film is thriller and the sub genre is spy, as it contains all three of these genres but contains more thriller and action as they are the main genre and spy is a sub genre.  Our film contains a lot of action and suspense throughout hence why they are our main genres.
